Truphone to Demonstrate First VoIP-over-WiFi Call on Apple’s iPhone
According to a company called Truphone, they have unlocked the secret of IP telephony on the iPhone, and demonstrated said ability today at DEMOfall 07 in San Diego. Executing commands via the Terminal (i.e., on a phone which had been Jailbreak-ed), Truphone CEO James Tagg was able to call another mobile phone using only an IP connection — all without breaking the SIM lock.

Yahoo! Podcasts, a comprehensive service search of podcast, that was sent in October of 2005, will close at the end of October of this year, agreeing with its second birthday. It is not an official official notice of the company, but to a side at the top of the page of Yahoo! Podcast can be read “Yahoo! it feels it deeply, but we will close Yahoo! Podcasts the 31 of October of 2007″.

Google will contract thousands of engineers in Europe
Of around 14,000 people who work in Google, around half they are engineers (7.000), and of these only a small percentage (500) works in Europe. This, according to Nelson Mattos (the new person in charge of engineering of the company in this continent), can cause that the users have the perception of which Google is a great American company that simply get at Europe to make money, sensation that for example has given to foot to the creation of projects ‘ purely europeos’ like e-Globe (to cometir with ‘ Google Earth’), Quaero (with the seeking Web of Google) or the attempt of a ‘ Google own Books‘, or like different sensitivity in privacy subjects.
